hey people. i shall blog about yesterday and today.
yesterday was my brother's alumni band performance. its my sixth and i think last time attending it because next year my brother will be joining the army already so no more sji alumni band for him. as usual, the concert was superb! =) terrific. great. wow. 2 thumbs up. and this year their conductor left too which was quite a pity la. the concert didn't had a great start. it started with this ex st josephian who graduated in 1994?! performing together with his bandmates from liverpool. they played rock music and the music was OKAY. the bassist was a female, quite cool la. but that ex st josephian was the singer who didn't had a voice. it sounded terrible. gosh. good thing it finally ended and the band came in with their confidence and all their talents. ya. the concert ending was also nice and touching. they played the most popular song - lao shu ai da mi. haha. then 4 alumni band members presented a gift to him. 3 of them carrying rice packets and 1 carrying mickey mouse. so dumb but nice. hahaha. i guess its the most touching time for their conductor. then it ended and they had their tradition, their own unique cheer but this time was such a surprise because it was accompanied by music played by the band. wow. after 5 years of viewing something new for my last sji renaissauce concert i watch. haha. sounds so dramatic.
today. quite eventful la. morning was church then after that had briefing for carwash fund raising. all the youths except for sarah, mandy, joshua, and me, washed our parents car as a practice while our parents had a meeting. the four of us were designing the bookmarks as a souvenier for those who allowed us to wash their cars. i think it turn out great la. we also gave sam his present in a unique way. haha. then after that went to my grandma's house and ate a nearby coffeeshop to celebrate her birthday. the food serving was so HUGE. i ate until i was so full. then back to the house there were DURIANS. urgh. being curious, i tried it after don't know how many years. and WOW. it tasted so bitter, so yucky. i took about 15 minutes to eat one and by the time im done it was time for cutting cake. then we sang a birthday song and i help to cut the cake and distributed. the cake was fine, at least better than DURIANS. hahaha. then sat down and i felt all drowsy after feasting like a glutton. finally its time to go home and i had to rush with my homework and i was so stressed up and stuff. ended up it was mental stress because i felt MUCH better after penning down my thoughts in my journal which the topic is E-LEARNING. so its killing 2 birds with 1 stone. released my stress and done with one homework. yay. im almost done with my homework, left with the ones not due tomorrow. anyway. time for me to sleep. real late already. NIGHTS.
three more days to extracting four of my teeth. is this good or bad?
